This position oversees recruiting-related policies, processes and programs that deliver best results in talent acquisition for exempt and non-exempt positions.


  • Develops and implements the strategic workforce planning model to support the current and future hiring needs for each business unit at all locations.
  • Develops and maintains passive candidate sourcing pipeline to support strategic workforce plan.
  • Manages the job posting, recruiting and hiring processes for assigned positions. Assists in identifying the most appropriate employee orientation program for each new employee. Collaborates with Employee Relations Manager on internal staffing process.
  • Develops recruiting processes and materials that are successful in hiring qualified candidates timely.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with a professional network, schools, associations, other recruiters. Represents the company at selected job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Assists in the development of internship programs that meet the business needs of the Company and enhance the learning of the candidate.
  • Collaborates with Community Relations and Marketing department to develop and implement social media strategies to support Employer of Choice branding on social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor and Twitter).
  • Collaborates with Employee Relations Manager to support the Affirmative Action Program to meet diversity and regulatory objectives. Develops good faith efforts to increase diverse applicant flow.
  • Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the program or process.
  • Compiles and analyzes data for applicant flow, interviews, time to fill, hires and retention.  
  • Participates in professional development sessions or seminars. Attends meetings, conferences and seminars.
  • Works on special projects.  Leads special and cross-functional project teams.  Presents training sessions related to assigned area. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a human resources or business area of study
  • A minimum of three years of direct experience in related areas.
  • PHR certification is highly desired
  • Experience with HR systems (i.e. applicant tracking system, HRIS and learning management system)
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, trustworthy, confidential and seasoned in recruiting-related decision-making issues. Exhibits kindness and compassion in interactive style.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Demonstrates correct grammar in written and verbal communication. Able to compose effective and correct written communications. Comfortable creating content for and presenting to groups of all sizes and levels.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Travel: up to 30% (primarily local)
